POPCORN Presents at Child Health Research Days Conference

Last month, Becky Conia, Parent Partner, and Megan Bale-Nick, Knowledge Broker, presented the Patient Engagement training research poster, Deconstruct to Reconstruct: dismantling conventional practices within patient engagement and reimagining reciprocal research with people with lived experience, at the 21st Annual Child Health Research Days Conference in Winnipeg, MB.

The poster showcased the co-creation process behind POPCORN’s upcoming patient engagement training program, which emerged as the most significant research education gap in our recent needs assessment survey. During this conference, they also shared event and registration details for the upcoming patient engagement training webinars.

We’re happy to announce that this poster has received an award for this presentation: Honourable Mentions in the non-trainee category. Congratulations to the entire team!
