What Do We Want To Know?

This study examines the association between race and ethnicity and pediatric quality of life and mental health outcomes.

How Are We Doing It?

This is a secondary data analysis study leveraging data from 2023 to 2024 for the POPCORN COVID-19 prospective cohort study.

How Is The Project Going?

We are working with the Data Pillar to ascertain sample sizes for analyses and submitting an REB application for the project.  

Who Can Participate?

This study includes children who presented to the emergency department (ED) and/or were admitted to the hospital for symptoms of severe acute SARS-CoV-2 infections, multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C), myocarditis, and pericarditis at a Canadian hospital as its study population.
