What Do We Want To Know?
We are analyzing the long-term outcomes of SARS-CoV-2 positive and negative children and youth, and their families.
How Are We Doing It?
Participants were followed for up to 9-12 months post-presentation, using repeated assessments to evaluate changes in health-related quality of life, fatigue, daily functioning, and mental health. Caregiver outcomes are being examined, including family functioning and caregiver burden, and we are estimating the incidence and trajectory of post-COVID-19 condition (PCC).
How Is The Project Going?
Analytic planning is in progress, and we are looking forward to sharing these plans with POPCORN investigators soon!
Who Can Participate?
The study relies on primary data previously collected during the POPCORN COVID-19 study and does not involve future patient recruitment.
